We were proud to lead NHS Voices, bringing together superstar singers and healthcare heroes to mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS.

With A Little Help From My Friends was launched live on ITV1 and Heart radio through a nationwide singalong, and the making of featured in prime-time ITV documentary.

What on earth?

A charity single by NHS staff including doctors, midwives and paramedics, who were joined by more than 30 recording artists including Seal, Beverley Knight and Guy Garvey.

What WAS the song?

The song, “With A Little Help From My Friends”, gave a nod to both the original Beatles hit and the Joe Cocker version.

Who sang on the track?

With A Little Help From My Friends features both chart sensations and NHS singers from across the UK, including the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir who we got to Christmas number one in 2015.

Featured artists included: Alexandra Burke, Beverley Knight, Seal, Danny Jones, Guy Garvey, Marina and the Diamonds, Nile Rodgers, Tony Hadley and many more.

Who produced the song?

The song was produced by Brit Award-winning producer Jon Cohen in conjunction with the legendary Timbaland.

We also had a wide-range of high profile supporters, including Sir Paul McCartney, who gave his support after receiving a heartfelt letter from us.

Who BENEFITED?

All proceeds from the song went to NHS Charities Together, a collective representing, supporting and championing the work of official NHS charities. The contribution to charity exceeded £50K.
